How to Make a Fruit Tart

Tart/Short Crust Pastry

  • 100 g unsalted butter (cold)
  • 175 g All Purpose Flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 25 g powdered/icing sugar

Pastry Cream

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fruit of your choice
